Hide the children, here come the cherry blossoms!

Veteran readers of this blog know that I have my doubts about trusting this too closely, but let me climb on up this bandwagon and pass on that the National Park Service announced this morning the Peak Bloom Dates of April 3-9.

And the only way to get close to them is to get down to the tidal basin at about 5:00am and take photos before 100,000 other people show up to oogle the cherry blossoms and push you out of the way.
